The world collapsed
Time stopped
The sun rose again
I’m not without
I’m dazzled
Time has no one
Concrete takes its title from the material that shapes our cities. I photographed a concrete bridge in central Gothenburg, Sweden. In this work, the concrete dissolves and softens. I use abstraction to approach a moment when the world feels close to collapse, a point where it feels as though many are holding their breath. What remains is a space beyond time, an opening, a possibility, a rebirth.
