Time stopped
The sun rose again
I’m not without
I’m dazzled
Time has no one
Concrete takes its title from the material that shapes our cities. Yet in this work, concrete dissolves, destabilises, and softens. I use abstraction to approach a moment when the world feels close to collapse, a point where everything holds its breath. What remains is a space beyond time, an opening, a possibility, a rebirth.
